Hi My PC, (XP sp3), seems very unstable and regularly crashes, since upgrading to your latest version from v10. I didn't have these problems previously

Have checked all plugins are up to date, downgraded Flash to 10.2 as suggested, doesn't seem to solve the problem.

On occasions, have noticed video images replaced by horizontal bands of colour and black white patterns. I have checked and this problem seems resolved, so not sure if this is the issue is causing firefox to crash

Hope you will be able to help

Shaun

Your crash is [@ JSScript::markChildren(JSTracer*) ], which is currently being tracked by Mozilla Developers at Bug 761081 (please don't comment in bug reports).

You can try a few things to alleviate the crash if you'd like:

First, try to reset Firefox. Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings. This simple step will eliminate many Firefox problems with only one click.

A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this: Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.

Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.

Problems like this with memory corruption (garbage collection) can have a lot of causes.

You can also check for problems caused by plugins.
