Google Searches have links that are not for the actual website Im trying to get to, have never had this problem on IE.
When I do a Google Search, for say "ikea" There will be about 3 results that say exactly "ikea.com" so I click on either the first second or third and almost every time the link will take me to a fake website that is NOT ikea.com and my Virus protection will pop up saying "threat detected: malicious software...etc..."... I have NEVER had this problem on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Why is this happening on Firefox? Is there anything I can do to stop this?

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
