Firefox uses too much memory because the Windows Task manager shows me that I'm using 28 tabs even though I am only using 15
This problem is causing my whole PC to stutter and LAG whenever I want to play games
here is a screenshots of the task manager
I tried to close it one by one by "end task" option but still, every time I open Firefox again these tabs or whatever they are are back and using memory more than any browser

Are you sure a Addon isn't causing the high memory usage here? Has this happen before?
I have been using the same 4 addons for years and this never happened at all. It just happened suddenly and I cant seem to know why I removed the recently added addon but nothing happened also, when I check the addons from firefox's task manager it shows me that they are barely using any memory (its in kilo byte) compared to the ones from the windows task manager so I do not think that is the issue here

Did you try in Private Mode windows to see if the same issue happened?
I just tried it and its the same situation, nothing changed. It is still using a lot of memory compared to how when I used to open even more tabs
See also the about:unloads page.
- you can open "about:" pages via the location/address bar
this "about:" protocol is used to access special pages
28 is the number of processes, not the number of tabs. Firefox has about:memory, about:performance and about:processes.
You can reduce the number of processes by opting out of the fission experiment. Change the value of this preference in about:config to false. fission.autostart You will have to restart the browser after making that change. I suspect you will continue to have the same issue.

I'm curious to know the specs of you pc? Can you post a similar screenshots?

Sure!
16 RAM so its nothing crazy. I only use it for browsing/gaming and some beginner programing here and there
That amount of utilization lags your machine? Is your original screenshots in the beginning during game play? Have you tried the same steps with Firefox in Safe Mode to see what the performance is? Ram is really cheap on eBay. I just bought 4 Kingston sticks at really good price. Research it. You have a nice cpu with 16 threads, why not get more ram to match it. ;-)

Yes everything lags a little bit/slower whenever I try to do something else not just while playing.
No, that screenshot was after I closed the game.
No I have not but I will try now and see how it goes
I'm upgrading the PC slowly so I will get a better RAM eventually and thanks for the advise! I'll check ebay
