In Privacy & Security Settings, autofill logins & Passwords is greyed out even though the box is checked. How can I access this feature without the box being greyed out?

Do you have enabled "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" ?

Are you using a password manager other than what came with the browser?

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
