The error is from your email provider's server. You'll need to talk to them.

I can send emails thru my servers website but not thru Thunderbird.

Webmail infrastructure is independent from POP/IMAP/SMTP servers. Therefore, if webmail works, this isn't an indication that there are no other problems.

I obviously have other problems but don't know what they are.
