Hi,

This is about creating New Event, when I tried to create New Event and try to change the start date and end date by default end date also taking as start date. So, I am not able to create even for more than one day.

Thanks, Nagaraju

I think I understand your question.

At the right end of the start and stop times are two pointers. If the tips of the pointers are touching it indicates the duration of the event is locked to what you have set for the default duration length. IE: if you have the default event time set to 1 hour the start and stop time stay 1 hour apart.

If you click on these pointers they will separate and you can set the times as you wish.

You set the default event time at Options-Calendar-General

Hi Airmail,

Thanks for your response.

Could you please elaborate more what changes I need to do at Options-Calendar-General? If possible, please provide steps.

Please find the attached screen print with current options for my Calendar.

Thank you.

Default values for new items. Right now you have events set to 120 minutes.

This only affects events you create and leave the two pointers touching when creating that event event.

If you click those two pointer and make them separate you can change the times to anything.

The calendar options screen is only for setting a default length of time.
