Can you please provide an example page in order to better investigate?
If there have been any changes to the about:config, you can reset the zoom setting. Otherwise, it is also possible to request the desktop version of the site.
You should be able to use this extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/always-zoom/ to get around the site's preferences.
