Firefox crashes several times per day. The most recent Crash ID: bp-f9610ca7-85a9-4e69-972f-e96642141029

Hello,

In your crash report two things were flagged: avcuf32.dll and igdumd32.dll - seemingly related to BitDefender and your Intel Graphics Accelerator driver.

If you have a BitDefender extension, try disabling it. Go to your about:addons page by either entering that in your address bar, or going to:

  • Tools (or New Fx Menu) > Add-ons

And disabling it in your Extensions tab. Antivirus extensions can sometimes cause browsing issues.

As for your Intel Graphics Driver, make sure that you have updated to the the latest version

If that doesn't help, try running Firefox with Hardware Acceleration disabled:

  • Click the menu button New Fx Menu and select Options for Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux.
  1. In the Firefox Options (or Preferences) window, click the Advanced tab, then select General.
  2. In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
  3. Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
