Since last week I have not been able to run FF14, 15 or 16beta 1 on Win7 32bit Acer laptop.

Cannot use FF at all anymore after so many years.

I use Orca browser now.

Since Firefox starts up but will not connect to any websites, could you try the steps in this article: Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can.

Problem solved by restoring previous Win 7 settings. I am now running FF14. I am still not sure if this setup is stable since I do not know what caused it in the first place.

Many thanks for your reply and I did try the link and several others and follow the instructions and tests. In my case even IE did not load any web pages.

So sorry to say I have no explanation why the problem occured in the first place. I am happy to receive any suggestions or what precautions to take. Thank you
