"import bookmarks from Safari" does not work

I can go through all the steps listed for importing, and it says "Done," but ... nothing has changed. Can't find anything covering that.

P.S. I'm not sure I have the plugins you list.

Look within your "Bookmarks Menu" in the Bookmarks sidebar or your Bookmarks History Library List. Try a search for the bookmarks you expect to see, if still no results. There may be a delay before you see them in the "Bookmarks" menu at the top.

I expect you used the "import from Safari". Try exporting your bookmarks from within Safari, then in Firefox importing from a file. All imported bookmarks are added to the end of the "Bookmarks Menu" folder, you will not see them appear on your bookmarks toolbar, you will have to move them where you want them and you may have duplicate bookmark folders.
