Your title says it won't work but then you say you don't have it on your phone ??

Maybe there isn't one yet for the Android platform. Have you searched ?

There is a Mozilla option if you want.

Not sure of the status of the experimental rollout of the built-in VPN in Firefox for Android (went live July 14) when the KB article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mobile-android-vpn was made restricted last week.
