Whats the different between version 153.0esr and 140.13.0esr. And how do I upgrade if needed.

Check the TB153.0esr Release Notes for what's new. https://www.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/153.0esr/releasenotes/

TB140.13.0esr is still part of the 140esr series. There will be two more 140.xesr releases for overlap between the time of a new release and the end-of-life of the previous release. After that you'll be automatically updated to 153.0.xesr. TB 150.0esr is the next TB ESR series for one year.

Thanks, I'll just wait til it automatically "updates" my current version. This way I don't have to 're-build' everything. This is a big load not to worry about. Thank you.
