Unable to log into social security since Firefox upgrade

more options

Since the recent Firefox upgrades, I am no longer able to log into the social security site using ID me. Previously, I logged in with no problem but now get a 400 error message saying the website is too large. Of course I have emptied cache and cookies and reloaded Firefox but nothing works. Apparently the error lies within the Firefox upgrade since before upgrading, there never was a problem logging in.

I forgot to mention that I can log in without problem on the safari browser. The issue lies with Firefox.

Hi

Please can you check for any updates to Firefox and make sure you are using version number 143.0.4.

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox?

Yes, Firefox is up to date to 143.0.4. Again, I could access the social security website through ID me on Firefox prior to the update but now can not. And yes, I have add-ons installed in Firefox but disabled them all. It did not help.

Can you try and see if the problem occurs in troubleshooting mode? This support article should help:

Yes, I can access the site in troubleshooting mode, although I never had to use that prior to the update. I guess I will always have to change into that mode since I've already tried disabling my extensions and clearing my cache and cookies, so I don't know what else to do. Of course, I wish I could go back to the Firefox version before the upgrade since that actually worked!
