I am concerned that my Pop email setting will default to IMAP when I put add email to my iPhone, causing me to lose all of my current messages. Will there be an automatic default to IMAP?

PLEASE stick to one thread with your questions to ensure a consistent response. I doubt serious that your phone is POP. If it were, the messages on the phone would not be available on your PC.
