
When I write a new email message the only contact list I see is those who were previously used not my full contact list.
bold text When I write a new email message the contact list that pops us is the people I have previously sent emails to not my full contact list. I need the full list every time. Why can't I get that instead of the default that is the previously used contacts.

Do you mean the the address autocomplete when you type in the To box, or the Contacts sidebar (F9)? It seems you have Collected Addresses as the default in the sidebar. Change the default to All Address Books or Personal Address Book (see pictures).
