My deleted items folder clears itself out, I have nothing older than one month in there. I can't find the setting to prevent this.

I want to control on my own when to clear out my deleted items and have searched and searched through all my settings. Is there a way to keep deleted items items in the deleted items folder until I clean it out myself?

Maybe you have the Option ""Empty Trash on Exit"" enabled for that account under:

Tools->Account Settings, Server Settings?
