I don't want export to RIS to save automatically. How do I stop it?

It's automatic. I don't think it can be shut down.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

One thing you can do is to open the Downloads Manager <Control> J and remove those entries.
