Do you have them synced to Firefox on another device?

Do you have a separate backup of your Firefox profile?

I have attempted previously to get an answer to this problem. NO ONE answers!! I have repeatedly lost all bookmarks. Have regained them. Don't ask me how. Your instructions are impossible to follow. Now, once again, all bookmarks are lost! What is going on with Firefox?
