With the latest Firefox 149, the firefox-l10n.js in omni.ja seems to be gone? its normally located in \defaults\preferences\ the file is now completely missing in the omni.ja is it now named differently or is it migrated into another file? normally i edit the file and add for our deployment: pref("network.proxy.type", 0);

I got a notification from Firefox to update the browser. Which is fine. But, when I tried to go to History to delete the downloads and previous months history. It will not allow me to delete the months history. It does nothing.

The icons/shortcuts on my homepage are getting moved around, added to, or deleted despite my having pinned all of the shortcuts that I want. All 4 rows of shortcuts have been filled with my pinned ones. Now Firefox is deleting/moving the last 2 on the lower right and inserting 2 new and irrelevant ones in positions 2 and 3 of the top row. This is annoying and frustrating. Thanks for any help.

In Firefox version 149, there is an issue with print preview behavior for HTML <select> elements. When opening print preview, all <option> items inside a dropdown are displayed and included in the print output.

This behavior differs from Firefox 148, where only the selected option is rendered correctly during print preview.

Steps to reproduce:

- Create an HTML page with a <select> dropdown containing multiple <option> elements. - Select one of the options. - Open print preview (Ctrl + P).

Expected result: Only the selected option should be visible and printed.

Actual result: All options inside the <select> element are displayed and printed.

Impact: This issue breaks the layout of printed documents and makes forms difficult to read, especially when dropdowns contain many options.

When Firefox starts, there are all these supposed "news" stories, and almost all of them are left-wing extremist leaning, anti-American junk, Don't know who supplies or selects them, but is there any way to set it so it presents a more balanced (and truthful) array, or failing that, doesn't come up at all? I was using my web browser and I tried to load a pdf on word. The Mozilla asked me to sign in and all my bookmarks and history was gone. A VPN was up in the tip right hand corner appeared that I had never seen before. I have no idea how my original homepage disappeared and all my bookmarks with it.

Lately I can not click all of my browser tabs, only some of them unless I do not have the browser maximized on the screen. If I make is smaller then I can click all of the tabs. Since the recent Firefox update I can't find a hardware acceleration setting to toggle off to see if it helps.

In that ip address bar, when you click in it there is a dropdown menu. It used to have all those sites that I look at every day. Recently is has added some others which I almost never go to and has dropped some that I go to every day. Like I went to the national do not call registry to register my phone number. I only went there once, and that was a few weeks ago but for some reason it keeps that one in that menu, at the expense of my regulars. There are a few more like that. there are now 3 like that, things that I have only gone to once, but there they are apparently permanently. How do I remove those I don't want so that it has apace for those I do want?

My desktop history is no longer synching with my phone. I have the proper desktop device synced.

Why?

I previously accidentally removed notification permissions from discord. I'm trying to reanable them, but even when i enable the settings in discord firefox will not give me the popup to turn on notifications. when i click on the usual permissions tab myself it simply does not show the notifications option. they are not blocked in my firefox settings, and other sites like youtube and twitter work perfectly fine

The window is not coming, up. shut it down with task mgr. Deleted xul.json file and it worked for a little while. but broke toady. Windows update done andn restarted.

i have a lenovo windows 10 desktop media centre. every time i launch firefox on it is will ask me if i want firefox to start at startup, which i do not want. i have selected no on the push notification, and selected no in the settings yet the next time i open firefox it asks again, it is very annoying and has only been doing so for about 2 weeks
