in android Version 150.0, the bookmarking system is broken. bookmarks are always stuck on one fixed folder choice and doors not change to the latest folder you bookmarked a new page to. Also, when tabs are in list view there is no space at the bottom for tab related popups to show without it clashing with the of the tabs open in the list view

I had about 20 tabs in my "Inactive tabs" on Firefox mobile. Today I wanted to open one of them, but all gone. I can't even found them in "recently closed tabs". This is very upsetting because some of them was very important for me.

My mothers new phone won't load external links and mine does?

I have way more strict security settings and same extensions. She has 2 and I have 13 extensions but they overlap and are not the issue. When someone sends her a link her Firefox does not convert the link like mine does, she gets a link in format https://share.google/ + string of letters, when she opens it, it's a blank page. When I open the same link it converts it from that to a regular link (https://). I have installed Firefox to at least 3 other people and none have this issue. I don't have this issue on desktop either.

If it makes a difference: Out all the people that have this browser on their phone she's the only one that has a new phone with Android 16 (mine is Android 14). They are both up to date on both software and Firefox updates.

hi, I have this odd issue lately that when I type something in the browser, search engines in particular, then hit the enter key on the on screen keyboard, and then click inside the same inputfield again that the backspace button switches behavior and no longer affects the text field but deletes the last letter from the word in the auto-correct-suggestion panel diirectly above the keyboard. clicking back into the browsers textbox doesn't help either. I have to press backspace several times until auto-correct stops suggesting new words, (turning off auto suggest doesn't fix it) then focus returns to the inputfield in the browser

I can repro it with multiple keyboard apps (microsoft & heliboard), on different search engine websites but it only happens in Firefox not in chrome nor any other Android app.

I also noticed that when I move the text cursor somewhere with a tap in this input field and then hit backspace, then it will show the context menu (copy, paste, insert...) for less than a second and instantly close it again. Pressing backspace a second time doesn't trigger it again until you move the input cursor with a tap again.

I only use uBlock but disabling it didn't help. Phone: Nothing 3

Hi I have a couple of http only pages behind a VPN in a private network. When using Firefox for Android and entering the address, either with "http://" or no prefix, Firefox is not able to connect and instantly switches to "https://" mode. "HTTPS Only" mode is not activated, DNS-Over-TLS is also deactivated.

The page can be opened when using the IP address.

In private mode Firefox opens the page as expected.

All other apps on Android do not show this behaviour, i.e. Chrome for example opens the pages fine as expected.

With Firefox on Linux, it works fine.

How can I make sure that Firefox openes the HTTP page and not switch to HTTPS.

About:config is disabled in Firefox on Android so all tweaks changing the settings there do not work.

Tried this with and without plugins, no difference.

When the "Delete browsing data on exit" feature is enabled in Firefox for Android, the app correctly clears selected data types (e.g., Browsing history, Cookies, Cache) upon exit. However, the "Recently closed tabs"list is completely unaffected and remains intact after restarting the app.

For the past.. month I would say, any time I try to use Youtube on my Firefox Browser it nearly always switches over to landscape mode after watching a video. It doesn't matter whether my phone screen's auto rotate is on or off it still does it. Yes. I already tried to turn my auto rotate on to switch it back to potrait mode, it still won't work. The only solution I currently have is closing Youtube all together from my Browser, which really REALLY sucks!!

Can someone PLEASE look into the glitch?!

For about a month, Firefox on Android has had a frequent problem where it stops loading pages and shows a blank page if I try to go to any open tab. The app is not frozen because I can click on things, ie, click on the browser bar and type in a URL, but no pages are visible. Force quitting the app fixes the problem. This is not only annoying but has other issues like losing any incognito tabs. Recently when typing on Firefox on the duckduckgo search engine, anything you type gets doubled, and you cannot backspace. The issue doesn't occur when on Google page, only on ddg. I also tried different keyboard apps and the issue still persists. I went to the same page on Google chrome and the issue does not occur. This just started happening within the last week or so. If it matters/helps, I'm on Samsung s24 ultra.

After March or Febuary I think? Bookmarks become incredably slow. My device is a S20 FE rooted using U.N.1.C.A ROM and using Snapdragon 865 processor. It took roughly 80 seconds or more just to open the main bookmark folder. I also have big bookmark folders but it worked fine on the last update. For years, I've been using FF on desktop (Linux), tablet (Android) and phone (Android - Samsung S24+). Sync has never been a problem until two weeks ago when FF on the phone has either refused to sync when I tapped the command, or hasn't synced for many hours or sometimes days (which is why I tried to do it manually). So, I signed out of my FF account on all 3 devices and then signed back in. The desktop computer and tablet are syncing normally, but the phone still won't sync. When I tap the 3-dot menu on the phone and then my name, it says the phone has NEVER been synced and tapping the sync command does nothing. Under "Choose what to sync", all options are checked, but greyed out. Can't change them, in other words. When I access bookmarks on the phone, it properly shows what was there before the last sync. The phone is running FF version 150.0 Build 2016155439

I've installed Firefox cause I get to know it's not chromium based, It seems fun but the sites are not loading properly, google search is not functioning normally like the ai mode or the ai summary you get It's not working and site are taking too much time to load I've only installed the recommended extensions maybe that could be the reason but I don't know and you guys should improve the UI make more character to it that's all you guys are doing great best regards

I am using Firefox on mobile and I want to download images in the highest possible quality from different websites.

Sometimes the images look compressed or low resolution after saving.

Is there any built-in option or setting in Firefox mobile to always download original image quality? Or any recommended method to ensure full-resolution downloads?

Hi, When I click on "Bookmarks", I can see all of my personal folders listed there from A-Z. When I want to save a page, etc., and click on "Bookmark Page", my personal folders don't come up and I'm only able to save to the "Bookmarks" folder and not to a folder of my choice.
