The bookmarks are stored somewhere, I just can't get to them.

Thanks Tim, I did see this article. I have tried to recover my bookmarks from the list and also through a manual search but each time I get a message box reading 'Unable to process the backup file'. When I search for the b/u files manually, I can see that there is data in the files (see attached screenshots)

I also tried importing the bookmarks from MS Edge (they're al in Edge) but nothing comes over. There is an option for me to export my bookmarks from Edge into a specified file on my computer but that's where I get stuck.
