websites are freezing my computer

I click on a new tab, enter the website, the website name comes up on the tab and then stops. This freezes my computer. I can't do anything and the blue circle freezes too. After about 30 seconds it will unfreeze and continue to the website. This started with just one website, but now it's doing it on any website I try to go to.
