I have MozillaFirefox-140.4.0-150200.152.207.1 on OpenSuse Leap 15.6. In my "Settings" under General and Startup I have always had the option "Open previous windows and tabs" checked.
This just started happening recently. After the first time it happened, I restored everything by searching through "History" and recreating the tabs and windows. Everything seemed OK for a few days then it happened again.

When I try to use multiple desktops to arrange the opened windows, the window of Firefox is present in all of them, even the last one, which is usually totally empty (and when we drag a new window in it, a new empty desktop is created).
You can find attached screenshots of my three desktops, where Firefox appears (I blurred all info that could be sensitive, I hope I did not miss any !).
Is there a setting to unset this ?
NB: this is a duplicate of a post I made on askUbuntu, but it seems that this issue is more Firefox related than Ubuntu... And I did not manage to fix it with the answer provided there, so I'm trying my luck here !
NB2: oops, i just noticed that I inserted this question in the wrong topic (android), it seems that I cannot change that... I anyone see how to do it let me know !

Illustration of a fox looking at an orange warning sign. Be careful. Something doesn’t look right.
Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with hrms.devrising.in. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails. Advanced What makes the site look dangerous?
The site is set up to allow only secure connections, but there’s a problem with the site’s certificate. It’s possible that a bad actor is trying to impersonate the site. Sites use certificates issued by a certificate authority to prove they’re really who they say they are. Firefox doesn’t trust this site because its certificate isn’t valid for hrms.devrising.in. The certificate is only valid for: isp.afd2.jiohs.net, signup.jiohs.net, frontend.afd2.jiohs.net, www.frontend.afd2.jiohs.net, acc.afd2.jiohs.net, blk.jiohs.net.

Anyone have any experience with this annoying issue?
Thanks.

Sites are now crashing because Firefox has "run out of disk space"
My most full drive is only 72% full and there are multiple other drives I could switch to with terabytes of spare storage. I also have plenty of indexes free, these are only 2% used.
But how? The solution page only offers advice for clearing cookies and data. I don't want to do that.
I have tried increasing dom.storage.default_cache and dom.storage.(I can't remember the exact syntax, but it was the site specific default cache), and I then tried killing and restarting chrome, but the issue persists and it means I can't run WhatsApp in my browser anymore, currently the only Linux WhatsApp solution.
It also affects multiple sites which struggle to load the css correctly, or crash altogether (the firefox help page and deepl.com)

Hi,
I've got Firefox with 4 adblockers: AdBlocker Ultimate, AdLock, Element Blocker and uBlock Origin. Still, https://www.youtube.com/c/franceinfo/live (news channel) sneaks ads before and after the weather forecasts. "C'était la météo avec Florette" (you watched the weather forecast with Florette salad sauce - of course I didn't!).
I can't find how to get rid of it. Please advise.

The GPU isn't working properly... I've attached screenshots of the browser I have installed. If needed, I can take any logs, etc. It's very frustrating - I have a fairly old processor and its GPU isn't working properly! If needed, I can create a thread on the forum and attach any information about my system. Sorry if I'm in the wrong place! Best regards, and thank you for the best browser in the world!

So, I've just went on a quest to find a solution to my pinned tabs disappearing every few days, and it seems like this can happen if I don't shut down Firefox properly. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
That's my question. The rest of this is curiosity about the issue since it's seemed to have persist for a few years:
Is this intended behavior? No other browser I use does this and judging from the hits I got here, and elsewhere, it seems undesired. Is there some security or privacy reason it's like this?
I know I can repin the tab, or take some session recovery steps, and a few other things... but IMO, those are workarounds, not solutions. Barring some technical or mission limitation, a true solution should prevent this from happening at all.

Hi all the people,
I was just surprised to see this in an Apache HTTP log: "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Firefox/58.0.1"
This bugs me. My first guess would be that a Webkit based Firefox could not be qualified as really Firefox. Although that, I could imagine a Firefox for iOS or MacOS based on Webkit, may be, but it says it is on Windows, which makes less sense.
I suspect this is a user agent string spoofing, but I just need to be sure (I try to get ride of far too invasive bots, while I’m afraid to disrupt browsing from legitimate web users).
With thanks and my apologizes for such a question which may looks obvious or strange to people who know for sure.

Hi there.
So as the title suggests, I have an odd issue, where audio from calls gradually pan around my headphones. It starts normally, but slowly goes towards the right ear, and eventually it starts moving back towards the center, but very muffled, as if something is simulating audio going behind my head, then left ear, then back center. This happens across different computers, OS's, audio interfaces, headphones, so the issue is highly likely to stem from within Firefox, although I'm not ruling anything out.
I've had this issue for probably years at this point, but I very rarely take calls (ie. Teams, Messenger, Discord), so it's never been the biggest issue, but now I have to regular do calls on Teams, and it's driving me slightly nuts. This does not happen while running the respective apps, but frankly, I'd rather not have to do that.
It seems to be related to WebRTC, but I can't find a specific setting that changes anything in that regard.
