Hi. During the last couple of days, there's been this annoying ad (a jwplayer ad) appearing at regular intervals and on all kinds of sites (the sites don't seem to have anything to do with it). It fills about half the screen and says "skip this ad in ... seconds". There isn't actually any ad, but the player can't be removed for 20 seconds. What is this?

I hav adblock plus enabled.

It's funny you say there isn't an ad: I think Adblock Plus probably is blocking the actual content.

Could you investigate whether this is caused by your "Veehd Plugin 1.1" extension? You can open the Add-ons page using either:

  • Command+Shift+a
  • Tools menu > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then disable that one and, if a link appears above the extension to restart Firefox, go ahead and do that.

Any difference?
