as soon as i open firefox the little colored wheel appears and I can't do anything, how can I fix this?
Once I open firefox the little colored wheel appears (what's that called?) and makes it impossible to do anything else. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem persists. I would try the reset option, but the colored wheel prevents from doing anything on Firefox. I'm using a MAC (OS 10.8.4). I have two Macs and the same issue occurs on both. Any suggestions? Thanks

The Firefox Reset features deposits your old settings in a folder on your desktop named Old Firefox Data. I suggest retaining that folder for a couple of weeks (you can drag it to a new location if you like) in case you need to dig up any old settings data from it.

hold shift when clicking the firefox icon, then reset
