Lost all bookmarks. Cannot import from USB stick or from IE and cannot restore from previous dates. Help!
One day all my bookmarks were gone. Tried importing bookmarks from a USB stick but could not. Tried importing from MIE.....no luck. Tried "Restore" using an earlier date....no luck. Nothing has worked. Using Firefox 18.0. Computer OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Rodney

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Problem was solved by resetting Firefox to its default state then importing bookmarks.
