When I click on "nothing" under privacy it works during that session but starts again the next time I log in. How can I make the change permanent?

I click on tools/options/privacy and then click "nothing" on the location bar section. It works during the present session but begins offering suggestions again when I log back in. How can I make this setting permanent? I've looked under every offered category but still must reset the location setting to "nothing" again every time I start a new session. I really want to have this setting be permanent because it annoys me having to reset it every time I log in for a new session. How can I make this setting permanent?
