"Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct." i keep getting this when i try to use firefox, except on facebook. please help.

i really have no more details but that i can't use firefox. i keep getting a box that states:The proxy server is refusing connections

If you do not use a proxy, in Firefox, go to Options > Advanced > Network > Connection > Settings, be sure [x] No proxy is selected.

Helper 7677, thank you so much. worked wonders. i have no idea how that got changed but i am now back on firefox and off explorer. once again thank you. Robert
