I have dial up and Firefox too often freezes up with gray box over top of tool bar containing only CLOSE with OK in a blue recommend oval & I have to quit firefox, with much difficulty and start over.

I just downloaded 4.0.1 and am downloading a 9.2mb update which will take some time since I have dial up. My main mail browser is Yahoo and I can't get into any of my google accounts because of may slow dial up. Broadband in this rural area is expensive and unreliable. AT&T has refused to bring DSL into our small community. I have had no problems until downloading to 4.0.1. I have a Mac Mini and will be adding more memory soon, but have not been able to as yet.
