I can´t get my bookmarks back after they dissapered

I was trying to create a new bookmark when I lost all my bookmarks. There was a message that firefox was crushed and that it should try to restore it when restart. It didn´t. I would like to be guided so I an get my bookmarks back. I am not an advanced user of computer so I need help

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
