The Firefox folder is located inside the Programs folder there is no reason to have it on the desktop.
Maybe you are referring to the Desktop Icon that is used to Launch Firefox, which is found in the Win Menu
You can create a shortcut to this on the desktop, also when Fx is installed there is usually an option to add the shortcut to the desktop and the taskbar in some versions of Fx
