I'm deeply aware of Google's shenanigans - all of them.

I'll try the private tab thing, but I suspect Google's intense efforts to block ad blockers and to capture 100% of everything we do on our smart phones. I'm also aware that Google is literally financing Mozilla.

Going to turn on background

However I must note that I'm living in a minivan for 3.5 years and I'm adept at saving battery.

I continuously kill all background tasks except Firefox, I turn mobile data off after every use, battery saver and data saver is always on, location data, mic access, camera access is always off.

Can't turn on background access for Firefox anymore... There is no app info on the Firefox app

I followed the links and tried to sign up on bugzilla even though I have a login on GitHub going back to the beginning. I never got a verification email at [email address], but I sent an email from mail.yahoo.com to [email address] and verified it's still working.

The thing is that I've never witnessed any app in my 42 years of experience that violates multi-tasking.
