Address field only fills emails since installing thunderbird

I recently set up thunderbird on my home pc (win 10) and when I start typing in the recipient field it will only autocomplete emails that have come in since installing (the last couple weeks). Even if an email is in my inbox, if it wasn't received since installing thunderbird, the account will not autocomplete as I start typing. Thus far, I've restarted, rebuilt the global database (and restarted) twice. This doesn't seem to be an issue with my work pc using windows 11.
