firefox for my macbook
My firefox on my Mac will not open in full screen mode. It use to open in Full screen, but now no matter what I do when I close it out then try to reopen it, it opens in half screen mode. I set it to full screen mode in the setting but no luck. I tried deleting it and re-downloading it. I tried every tip online but nothing works.

Hello,
This question was originally posted under Firefox for iOS, but looks like you're on a mac instead, so we've moved it accordingly. In the future, please make sure to select the appropriate product when posting, so your question reachers the right contributors more quickly.
This question was hidden, since it contain personal information (such as email address), but we've removed it by now.
I noticed that you're on version 139. Can you try to update to to 139.0.4 and see if it fix the issue?
My Firefox claims that the latest is 143.0.1 the latest version. As the question says, Firefox used to open in full screen mode and now does not. Since there is now an extra and previously not required step to use Firefox I am about to shift to another browser. But it may be Apple's fault of course. But why can't you change it in settings?
Hi Hardpswell,
We don't have a built-in setting to set Firefox desktop on Mac to always open in full screen mode. You're probably using an extension to do that.
