PREVIOUS VERSIONS
HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE UPDATES AND GO BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSIONS? OR SHOULD i USE A DIFFERENT BROWSER?

What don't you like about Firefox 138 that makes you want to go back? To ask that another way, what was the last version you liked?
I don't like the update rate. FF should notify when a new version is available and have a notification rate. for example if a new version is now avaialble notify me but do not notify me more than a selectable 1,2,3 times or once a day, week etc for the same available version. The current version pops up a notification which disturbs viewing video and can do that several times in an hour and for some reason other times it may show updates avaialble and not show an update for a day.
Why are there CONSTANT updates. Why is Firefox doing away with some of its best services? I am saddened and TROUBLED! yOU ARE RAPIDLY BECOMING NO BETTER THAN THE OTHER GARBAGE OUT THERE.
If you do not appreciate new features, you can consider switching to the Extended Support Release of Firefox 128. More info:
- Switch to Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) for personal use
- IMPORTANT: do not uninstall the regular release first, since you will probably want both to be running to Sync data between them
I sure wish you would not screw with my drop down tabs. My primary e-mail Inbox, which was always in the top one or two spaces with FB being the other, is apparently no longer a fit for Firefox. Is it because you are so in bed with Google??? I almost never use my Google Inbox. I only keep a Google account because one is forced to if one wants to interact and partcipate in so much online - Google Docs, Google Photos, etc. I would be happy to go back to the last version. I hate this one!

Hi Gisele, which list is having the problem?
- Address bar drop-down when you first click in the address bar (before you type anything for Firefox match off of)
- Bookmarks menu (Alt+B, if you are on Windows)
- Bookmarks Toolbar
The address bar drop-down list uses the shortcuts from the built-in Firefox Home / new tab page. If you want to change the order of that list, see: Customize items on your Firefox New Tab page.
Bookmarks shouldn't change during an update, but sometimes there are file problems. Let us know what you see (or don't see) in more detail for suggestions on next steps.
