Is it possible to give each email account a color and have the message list backgrounds match the account colors? It would make it much easier to know which account has received the email when viewing the Unified Folders Inbox. I think this used to be possible with an extension called 'account colors' but it no longer works in 128.

I have noticed that I can change the account icon colors (r.click account > Properties) but it doesn't translate to the message list.

Thanks for your help.

There's some work on this here:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1482172

In the meantime, there is a way to make the card background colour the same as the colour of the tag assigned to a message, so if custom tags were created for each account, messages could be tagged with a filter, one for each account.

Thanks for helping out sfhowes. Looks like lots of people have the same request.

So, how would I make the card background colour the same as the colour of the tag assigned to a message?
