Removing gap on Subject Column

Hello

I've just started using Thunderbird and am customising my folder columns.

I have set them up as From, Subject, Date, Attachment.

However there is a large gap at the left of the subject column which wastes space, see the attached photo. How do I remove this please?

The gap is for the arrows that indicate if a message is replied or forwarded.
