My iMac display failed and I have replaced it with a new Mac mini. I have rescued the hard drive from the old iMac and have it installed in a docking station connected via USB. How do I transfer the address book from this HD to the new Thunderbird installation on the Mac mini?

Hello,

This should be as simple as copying the profile and setting Thunderbird to use that profile. This has the added benefit of also copying settings, accounts, and addons.

You should find the profile folder in ~/.thunderbird/
