Passwords and logins disappeared

Having gone through my list I manually setup each login and password to the websites I visit, confirming each had the correct login page I had. Everything worked great for the remainder of that day, but after restarting my computer today, no user names or passwords appear to have been saved, despite the fact that I entered the web page, my user name/email, password, then saved each and verified each worked in Firefox, I was even pleased to see it offered to create a new secure password for me when visiting a new site. Also I don't see the key icon for it on my browser.

Clicked on the three stacked bars, made sure I was logged into Firefox, went through even dropped down and menu I could find, started to enter a new address to see if it brought back my previous saved list, nothing.. ..

Any help would be appreciated as I did like the way it seemed to work, and it did work quiet well built into the browser like it is.

After several days I attempted again to add a password, went through all the previous steps, logged into Firefox, go to Logins and Passwords, attempted just one, seemed to work and actually remained available. Couple days later, it's still there and have reentered my previous login and passwords, re-verifying each again.

This time I've exported my login's to a unsecured file and renamed it, then moved it to an existing folder somewhere in my system, currently running five HD's, so it'll take anyone else awhile to find.. ..if I find myself in the position of needing to reload them again, I'll just import that file.. ..it just won't have any new additions that my be add along the way.. ..

Hopefully my solution may be helpful to someone else... And thanks again to all those that offer so much here, this place is an asset and very much needed.
