06 04 20, Firefox update just finished, and crashed... Again. I had one Firefox tab open, tried to open another Firefox Tab, Firefox crashed, but it only Crashed the Tab I was trying to open. Here We Go Again. Don't tell me "Firefox doesn't Update and notify of same in a little window for (About) three seconds. Even after the Last Fiasco with Firefox's Updates Crashing) I set Firefox's Updates to "Ask First".

Hi kingofnicepeople, glad to see you on Mozilla Support Forum.

Try Refreshing your browser:-

  • Click the menu icon, then click on “Help”. Click on Firefox's main menu button, represented by three horizontal lines.
  • Click “Troubleshooting Information”.
  • Click on “Refresh Firefox”.
  • Confirm.
  • Click “Finish”.

If it doesn't solved your problem, then feel free to ask in Reply Section. Thanks for raising your question in Mozilla Support Forum.

hi, this should be a workaround to avoid the tab crashes: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named media.wmf.vp9.enabled. double-click it and change its value to false, then restart firefox once.
