I have turned off "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites", I am not using Firefox's password manager. Yet, the browser still remembers a username for sites. I've deleted them all, but after I log in, it reappears. How do I stop Firefox from remembering usernames completely?! This is really frustrating.

Is form auto-fill enabled ?

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security: Forms and Autofill
  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
    "Remember search and form history"
