Can't highlight & color text, can't color the backround. All extensions disabled. I can underline, italic, and bold only. Any ideas?

if you are composing in plain text you can not set fonts or colours. Try holding shift while you click to write. Does that offer the opportunity to change fonts in the message?

Hi and thanks. I ended up finding this- Tools>Options>Display>Formatting>Colors> Overide the colors specified by the content with my selections above: Somehow 'Always' was checked (don't know why and when) I unchecked to 'Never' and I'm OK again. thanks
