Never Mind....I solved it! when loading profile to new computer thunderbird can't find profiles

i copied the old profiles to both local and roaming folders and removed the new profiles but now when i install thunderbird it says the profile is missing and i can't figure out how to start over fresh. have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. i looked at other questions with this problem but those solutions didn't seem to work.

The profiles.ini file was pointing to the wrong place...my fault!

The location for the profile is the roaming folder. There might be some odd things Thunderbird stores in the local appdata, but a profile should not be located there.
