I have made a new domain for testing. The only GPO besides default is the one to set Firefox homepage. I've pointed it to the right OU and restarted the test machines in that OU. I have run a gpresult and it says it's applying. But the homepage in firefox doesn't change to the correct one. I go into options and the homepage isn't set. All PCs are Windows 10 enterprise joined to a Windows Server 2008 R2 domain controller running at 2003 functional level. This mimics our current production setup.

Group Policy is a Windows O/S function and you want to ask that in a Windows forum on this part.

The reason I'm asking here is to see if there are any issues with the Firefox ADMX file. I have set the homepage for Chrome and IE11 with their associated ADMX files with no issues.

Thanks for using Firefox. Keep it up.

I have the same problem. I made a gpo for computers for testing reasons.

i can see, that the settings will be made in the regestry but in the ff log i can see the error: invalid parameters specified for homepage.

using Policy templates for Firefox 64 and 60.4 windows 10 pro x64 ff 60.4.0 ESR 64bit

any help? thanks

The homepage has to be a fully qualified URL:
