I have updated latest Mozilla firefox quantum browser and it is maximising tabs without me doing anything, and minimising tabs, sometimes the whole page closes down. I have no virus's or anything on my computer so is not that or ransomwear or trojans. I've reinstalled it a few times, deleted cookies and form data and history, checked everything i know of, and its only been since this update.

That would mean a corrupted install. The browser by itself will retain the original settings if your just upgrading. What you need to do is completely uninstall all FF and delete the Mozilla folder and then do a fresh install. That should usually cure the problem.
