Drag and Drop graphics from browser to desktop is broken. Why can't you fix it now? I've read that it will be fixed in version 59. Really?

There have been many posts about this, I find it frustrating. In my ignorance of browser programing I just don't understand why this can't be fixed quickly. I've read posts indicating the errant code has been identified but the fix will need to wait for v. 59! Why?

Hey there, it all depends on the bug's priority -- this bug was deemed to not be as important as some others and will be fixed in Firefox 59.
