Как мне вернуть старый вид firefox? Как сделать так чтобы браузер не обновлялся к новой версии без мого согласия на это?

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select Update. Check the settings.

Also turn off Use a background service to install updates

If you want or need to downgrade,

Install Older Version Of Firefox {web link} Be sure to read everything here.

If you still want to downgrade, look under; I still want to downgrade. Click the Directory of other versions and languages link. Look for the directory of the version that you want. But, remember that old versions may have security issues.

Note that you are running the Firefox Developer Edition version and not the regular release. The DE version got update from 56 to 57 and in that version you can only use WebExtensions by default.

The DE version has a pref named extensions.legacy.enabled to enable legacy extensions that you can toggle to true on the about:config page.
