Used System Restore, crashed before finshed

I was doing a troubleshooting restore when it crashed before it finished. Now I can't open Firefox because I have no profile. I tried using the profile manager & couldn't get it to work. I do not have an old Firefox, Now what?

You can use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

See "Creating a profile":

If you can still find an old profile that doesn't show in the Profile Manager then try to recover some personal data like the bookmarks.

Actually I didn't mean restore, I meant refresh.tart, run put in firefox.exe -P and it would not take it. Got the pop up message, can't find. So, I guess I will use another browser. I spent way too much time on this. Why when the refresh crashed that profile box didn't come up is a problem.
