I had no trouble linking ntlworld.com accounts but can't get the newer virginmedia.com accounts to hook up. Any help from anybody who has found a way through this would be appreciated.

I take it you know of the settings shown here?

You are using these? They appear to be perfectly ordinary and conventional.

Do you have any firewalls or security software that might be interfering?

Thanks very much. That's fixed it! I'm not sure what I've done differently but having the screen you recommended in front of me whilst filling in the boxes made life easier and it works. So, problem solved, and thanks again.
