I am trying to Uninstall Mozilla and when I select it in the programs, I hit uninstall and nothing happens.

Ok, I'm pretty computer savvy and when I go to Uninstall Programs, I select Mozilla and click uninstall, then a little box appears and asks if I want the "Firefox Helper" program to make changes to my computer....I click yes (I also tried NO just for shits and giggles) and nothing else happens!!! Please help me remove Firefox asap!!!

Was there a reason to remove Firefox? Did you get FF from Mozilla.org ?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking.

Starting The Computer In Safe Mode;
Free Online Encyclopedia

Then try the uninstaller.

If the above dosen't help, try this;

With the computer in Safe Mode,

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.


Look for, and remove any Mozilla or Firefox folders.

After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner.
